Heroic deeds require heroic words!
Scribe Week may be over, but we’re not done celebrating the selfless act of inspiring and educating others. On this occasion, we’re seeking the authors of guides and walkthroughs, so if you enjoy arming others with kick-ass information (or you know of others that do), we invite you to enter our Conqueror’s Academy Writing Contest!
To take part, all you have to do is write a guide on your preferred or specialist subject, be it an area of gameplay, a favourite map, unit, or weapon. You can enter a completely new guide or one you have previously written, but the information should be correct and up to date (as far as is possible). More importantly, your work should be your own.
Entries can be posted to our Discord channel either as text, a link, or an attachment. Your work can contain images, but must not exceed 4,000 words. To give you an idea of what to aim for, the shortest guides we have published have been around 700 words, with the average settling between 1,200 and 1,600 words - so don’t feel that longer is better.
The closing date for entries is September 25 at 12:00 CEST, after which we will judge the top three entries in all supported languages, with the very best being considered for publication at conqblade.com and on our Steam page, where they’ll be shared among the entire Conqueror’s Blade community!

RULES:
- Entries must be submitted in a supported language (English, French, German, Spanish, Turkish, or Russian).
- Entries must not exceed 4,000 words.
- Only entries submitted before September 25, 2020 at 12:00 CEST will be accepted.
- Entries can be submitted to the contest Discord channel. We reserve the right to ask for further evidence to prove that your entry was created by you.
- Please include your character name and server alongside your submission.
- Entries cannot contain any material that violates the MY.GAMES Terms of Service.
- Any and all players are subject to disqualification at any point before, during, and after this competition for violating the Terms of Service or any of the contest rules.
- The best entries will be determined by the Conqueror’s Blade team, and winners will be announced on the Conqueror’s Blade website after the contest has ended.
- Your entry cannot feature any copyrighted or third-party material. Only entries featuring original writing, or writing inspired by Conqueror’s Blade will be considered.
- You agree that your entry can be used by My.com and MY.GAMES for promotional purposes (for example, for publication on our official social channels or websites).
