Migrating players who have requested to transfer from the Cloudwing Valley (West) server to the Eagle Range (East) server.

OPTIMISATIONS:

User Interface:

  • Added weapon type descriptions to weapon attires found in the Seasonal Store.
  • When checking a house or alliance from within the N - Diplomacy menu, you can now whisper to the liege (if they are online) or add the liege to your friend list without needing to navigate to the Social menu.
  • You can now check the location of all group members on the World Map, whatever region they may be in.
  • Added a timestamp option for the chat which can be activated in Chat Settings. Doing so will show the time at which each message was sent.
  • Added a ‘Back’ button in the character selection menu which will return you to the Server Selection screen.

World Map:

Your endless fervour has granted the Ostarian Royalty support en-masse, and so Augolia is gradually returning to its former glory. The ‘Billeting Officer’ of Augolia has returned to his post and Warlords may now make Camp here.

Those wishing to do so should head to Augolia via a border post. Once there, talk to the Billeting Officer and use a ‘Migration Token’.

Miscellaneous:

  • Adjusted the minimum level required to use the Battle Pass and Spymaster’s Reports. These can now be used at level 7.
  • While your XP Pool is full, experience gained from battle will automatically be converted into Bronze Coins.
  • Improved upon the 'Clear Ruins' game mode. When joining from the Matchmaking interface, it is now possible to leave the battle if done within 2 minutes.
  • Owing to the great distance to Augolia, both sides have decided to create a quicker route focusing on Turul Város. Warlords who possess at least at least 4,000 Lions may now quickly travel to Augolia by talking to the Warden of Turul Város.
  • Made some adjustments to the attributes for the Phantom horse.
  • Improved how units retreat after the hero dies. Warlords may now actively command units to retreat. Units will now also automatically begin retreating 5 seconds before the hero respawns (was 10 seconds after the hero dies).
  • Added a new feature to Settings allowing players to turn off Territory War broadcasts.
  • Information regarding the occupying House and Alliance will now be displayed for fiefs, resource points, ports, and trade ports on the World Map.

  • Item information shared in the chat window will now change to reflect the user's client language.
  • Battle effects have been added for resource sites when an assault upon them is initiated.
  • Added the ability to use multiple Unit Medals at once. We will continue working on enabling this for other items as well when we see a need for it.
  • Adjusted the refresh time of bandit ruins in Ostaria. The refresh interval between each round of bandit attacks have been changed to 1-1.5 hours.
  • Added Donation value to items that can be donated. When accessing the Collect Resources menu, the tips window of donatable items will now display that item's Donation value.
  • Added an option to show more detailed tooltip information on the World Map when placing the pointer over certain places.
  • During Territory War, information has now been added to the interact menu of resource sites, trade ports, and trade posts regarding which house is occupying it.

SERVER TRANSFERS

Migrating players who have requested to transfer from the Cloudwing Valley (West) server to the Eagle Range (East) server.

OPTIMISATIONS:

Lion Store and Quartermaster Donations:

We have received feedback from the community regarding the donation of resources and it is our goal to further improve upon this feature in future version of the game, therefore in this weeks update we will be making the following changes:

  • Added additional information to the Collect Resources info. You can now see the 6 weekly donation requirements: 500, 1,000, 1,600, 2,100, 2,800, and 3,600.
  • Adjusted the amount of Lions you get upon completing a donation. It is no longer subject to any randomization, and for each of the 6 donations you will get the following amount of Lions: 55, 110, 175, 240, 310, and 440, for a total of 1,330 Lions.

In future versions, will be adjusting the donation requirements depending on the situation in Ostaria, so be sure to check the donation requirements each week.

As a reminder, you needn’t worry that it is too difficult to acquire Lions as they can also be earned from Clear Ruins event which is available in open-world and matchmaking interface. From January 4th, warlords will also be able to rebuild ruins to earn even more Lions.

Quests Improvements:

  • Adjusted the completion requirements of the quest ‘A Hungry Winter’. Previously you had to collect 10,000 Food on the World Map, this has now been changed to acquire 10,000 Food (viable sources: World Map collection, buying from the Market or defeating bandits).
  • Reduced the difficulty on some weekly quests.

Suggested Market Price Changes:

  • Equipment without attributes will have their suggested price limited on the Market. Such a restriction is not in place for rare equipment or better with attributes.
  • As ‘Treasures’ have a rather high donation value, we have increased their suggested price cap in the Market to 10,000 Silver Coins.

User Interface:

We’ve updated various user interfaces in-game to fit with the Seasonal Theme.

Character screen now includes snow to fit with the Seasonal Theme:

  • When taking a unit that has not been fully levelled up into battle, you will gain an additional 10% Unit XP that will go into the shared pool.

When you want to add Shared XP to a unit to level them up, select the Unit you want to level up in your Barracks and press the little + symbol next to their experience bar, which appears on the top left of the screen underneath their name and level.

From here, you can specify how many levels you want to level them up by, if you do not meet the required amount of experience, you will be unable to increase its level.

Once you are happy with the amount of levels you want to apply to the unit and the amount of experience you want to use, click the "Use" button.

DYNAMIC WEATHER

We have improved the Weather system in Season VI: Scourge of Winter, weather will now play a greater role than ever before. We have given each region specific climates befitting their geographical locations and different weather effects will have a greater or smaller chance to appear depending on the climate and whether or not it is spring, summer, fall or winter (by the in-game clock). For example, winters see Ostaria covered in snow, whereas in Anadolou will be experiencing rainfall.

  • Ostaria:  Hot and humid during the summer; cold and arid during the winter. Affected by the harsh winters, the entire land of Ostaria is overcome with snow.
  • Ungverija: The northern parts are affected by the harsh winter, and is wrought with snow. Summers in the south are hot and arid, winters temperate and rainy.
  • Anadolou: The northern parts are hot and arid in the summer, and temperate and rainy in the winter. The southern part, the desert, is arid all year round.
  • The Borderlands: The northern parts border on Ostaria and are also affected by the harsh winter. Much of the south lies on a higher altitude and has complex weather.

Snow on the World Map is no longer a decoration, Warlords who travel snowy regions will have their movement speed reduced and areas with snow will no longer be able to supply itself with food rations. Movement speed can be increased by consuming Winter Ale (found at the Quartermaster).

Changes to the weather will also affect fiefs (including Territory War), so different strategies will have to be adopted depending on the weather conditions.

Fief’s weather can be checked via the World Map, when selecting a fief you can see the weather identified underneath the fief level.

ARTILLERY CHANGES:

Notable changes:

  • Reduced the health, damage and ammo of uncommon, rare and epic artillery.
  • Reduced the central explosion damage radius of mortars and cannons, lowering overall lethality against units.
  • Reload time changes: The order has been changed from uncommon > rare > epic to uncommon < rare < epic. Reduced the interval damage of high-level artillieres.
  • Reduced the accuracy of some artillery as they were too precise (ballistae).
  • Reduced overall damage and, for balance’s sake, improved the aim of Mortars.
  • Muddled out the peripheral view when aiming with artillery. This makes it more realistic and hampers players view.
  • Changed the deployment time of all artillies.
