How to change your nickname

You can do this only once!
If you’ve been using the new Guild Hub to create or join a House and have noticed that you’ve been assigned an odd nickname (a string of numbers preceded by the letter ‘u’), don’t despair. It’s just how we catalogue new users. The offending name can easily be changed - but only the once - simply by going to the main forum page and clicking on “(nickname change)” at the very top of the screen.
Your new nickname must be unique and contain between 6 and 16 alphanumeric characters. Note that nicknames are for use across the site and the forums and are not linked to any in-game characters. The only way to currently secure an in-game name is by being a member of a verified House with at least 20 members.
Remember, you can only change your nickname from its initial u_12341234 format once, so make it count.
