Become acquainted with your new Polish Community Manager: Malveque! Malveque is itching to provide support and entertainment to the Polish Conqueror’s Blade Community, and you may have already seen her streaming ferocious battles on our Twitch channel and engaging with players in our Discord.

We sat down with Malveque for a chat and discussed everything from her time as a content creator to Hetman Chodkiewicz.

What was the first game you ever played? And do you still play it?

The first game I played was Crash Bandicoot. When not everyone had access to a PlayStation, my cousin allowed me to play at his place from time to time. Of course, Crash was forgotten for many years until the remastered version! I still love Crash, and after years of not playing, it turns out that it is not as simple as I thought!

What are your hobbies outside of gaming?

I try to spend a lot of time outside. I am a gardener by passion (I have my own little garden, which I take care of every morning!). In the summer, I kayak, and I've also become interested in paddleboarding, which has become my new hobby. I am also trying to get back into swimming, but the ongoing pandemic makes it a bit difficult for me. As you can see - I spend almost all my free time near or in the water.

What is your favourite thing about Conqueror’s Blade?

Battles. I played Lineage for a long time and loved the weekend Siege Battles. In many games, I miss collective PvP, which is what I love about Conqueror’s Blade battles.

Tell us about how you got started in Community Management.

I was in PR for a long time and was also a content creator, but one day I realised that to do this part of your job well, you need to understand the community - know who they are and their expectations. It is only possible if you talk to them, so I decided to become a CM for a while. Initially, it was supposed to be only six months, but in the end, I have been doing it for several years! I have quite a lot of experience building a community in indie games, which is not an easy task. At the same time, I'm just the type of person who talks a lot - so it's probably no wonder that CM is an ideal job for me.

What made you want to join Conqueror’s Blade and its community?

I was looking for a new challenge, and online games are new and different from being a CM on the developer side. In addition, I got into Conqueror’s Blade a bit myself, so being a CM here is a combination of fun and useful.

What is your favourite thing about streaming?

I am the type of person who prefers reading to watching, so I don't watch too many streams myself. However, this is a very nice way to connect with people, and that's what it's all about.

If you could make a customised Hero Attire for Conqueror’s Blade, what would it be inspired by?

I am a fan of the Middle Ages, so I love simple period costumes. But then again, I do not attach much importance to the appearance of my Hero.

If the world of Conqueror’s Blade came to life and you were a Warlord, how well do you think you’d fare in battles?

Hahaha, bad! I'd rather hide in a castle and get ready to flee! Seriously, I love to run into the middle of the battle, which is not the best tactic for games like Conqueror’s Blade because I should be strategic. It seems that as befits a Pole, I should say that I would be like Hetman Chodkiewicz and defend Chocim, although I know it wouldn’t be as heroic. For this reason, I am glad that Conqueror’s Blade is a game and not real life.

You can get in touch with Malveque via Discord, and catch her on the Conqueror’s Blade Twitch channel along with the full team, and watch her Polish (PL) streams on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
