Server Transfers

If wanderlust is calling, you can answer when server transfer applications open on November 17! Join your friends on their server, or simply enjoy a change of scenery.

You need to apply in-game before November 23 (10:00 CET) to be eligible for a transfer. Server transfers take place on November 24, each transfer costs 1,000 Sovereigns, and your character must have left their House or Cohort for the application to proceed. You cannot rejoin Houses or Cohorts or join new ones until your transfer is complete.

Remember to claim your Seasonal Rewards before applying! You should complete all transactions on the Resource Market, collect items from resource piles, and delist any items from the Market before the server transfer occurs. Listings, items, and resource piles will not be migrated between servers and will be lost if action is not taken.

Check out the server transfer FAQ, and keep an eye on the Conqueror’s Blade Discord channel for updates.

The Colosseum map has been transformed into a forest with a camp tucked inside simply reeking of mystery.

The map is available until November 23 at the following times:

Crystal Sea and Sicania:

  • 16:00 until 20:00 and 22:00 until 02:00 CET

Cloudwing Valley

  • 07:00 until 11:00 and 13:00 until 17:00 PST

Basic Rules

  • You can choose to bring any unit into battle.

  • You can respawn indefinitely.

  • You can deploy only one artillery per match.

  • You can only change your units at the supply point at the respawn point. The central supply point only provides healing and ammo.

OPTIMISATIONS:

Maps:

Valley Fortress

  • Changed the terrain for the path of the attackers' siege towers on the right side on the Valley Fortress map.

UNIT BALANCING AND OPTIMISATION:

Iron Reapers

  • Flail “Shock” always breaks the enemy's block and knocks enemies down (previously sent them flying). Also dazes enemy heroes, making it easier to land more “Shock” attacks.
  • Flail “Shock” now hits twice, with the first being the collision for blunt damage and then they strike for extra blunt damage.
  • They now form into a tighter “Column” formation to easier use “Shock”.

Modao Battalion

  • “Immovable” Changed to: Takes 60% less melee damage from calvary while in “Modao Defence” (this includes calvary charges).
  • “Modao Defence” and “Modao March” both increase piercing defense and slashing defense by 100 for 3 seconds with each hit, stacking up to 15 times.

Flowers of Victory

We are introducing a new Colosseum Map: Flowers of Victory. This new map features new scenery and modes.

[Flowers of Victory] and the standard [Colosseum] map will both be available in rotation from September 29. While available, the chance to find matchmaking battles in [Flowers of Victory] is greatly increased.

We're adding a new feature known as ‘Trophies’ to the Flowers of Victory map within Colosseum Mode.

You can accrue Trophies by defeating heroes and neutral soldiers, and by opening chests on the map. You may only carry a certain number of Trophies at a time. You'll be able to earn buffs that raise your damage, reduce the enemy's defences, or gain powerful reinforcements by handing in Trophies to the Trophy Collector. You'll receive extra unit reinforcements if your team hands in enough of them.

A supply point has been added to each of the tunnels on either side of the Flowers of Victory map.

You can respawn indefinitely in the Flowers of Victory map in Colosseum Mode.

Due to the introduction of Flowers of Victory, we have updated the details in the Rules section of Colosseum Mode.

New Mode - Colosseum

This PvP mode will be available throughout the Season, pitting 6v6 against each other in fierce gladiatorial battles. Fight other players and deploy Units and artillery to drain enemy teams’ points, take control of the capture point, and win the fight. A cheering crowd cries out for entertainment as the realm’s greatest fighters battle for victory over their competitors.

Here’s the important stuff:

    • Colosseum Mode is available to players Level 30 and higher
    • Groups of up to three players can participate
    • Units brought into battle are not affected by Seasonal Seals

    • Each player may deploy one piece of artillery
  • Each player only has two respawns
  • There is a single neutral Supply Point in the centre of the map

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT: HOW TO WIN

Winning in the Colosseum relies on both points and capturing the flag. Secure victory by reading up on the rules of engagement:

  • Both teams begin with 500 points
  • The team that drops to zero points first loses the match
  • Battles last for ten minutes, at which time the team with the highest point score wins (if neither has dropped to zero points)
  • Capturing the flag will reduce enemy teams’ points, but the capture zone will shrink as time goes on

REINFORCEMENTS

Defeating Gladiators will grant you extra Units which can be immediately summoned, called at the supply point, or available when you respawn. The extra units available are:

  • Falconetti Gunners
  • Iron Reapers
  • Modao Battalion
  • Pavise Crossbowmen
  • Shieldmaidens

Cut down the Tyrant and some NPC Gladiators will then join your side.

Cohort Rank Changes

We've received feedback that the acquisition of Acclaim is unbalanced and unfair, we've added a cap to how much can be gained from a single battle.

  • When Cohorts battle, they gain more Acclaim based on the tier of the unit killed. Acclaim gained from killing NPC units is reduced.

  • We've added a cap to the amount of Acclaim you can get from killing heroes, units, and destroying artillery from a single battle.

Ranked Battle

Crowd Points

Following the community feedback we've received during Conqueror’s Blade: Helheim season, we're now adding Crowd Points which you can use to retain your Ranked Battle score or rise in rank quicker.

  • You will be able to earn Crowd Points by playing well in Ranked Battles and by raising your ranking. The top 5 players on the winning side and the top 10 players on the losing side will earn Crowd Points.
  • Crowd Points can be used when you lose a match to protect your stars/score. While at max Crowd Points, you also get an extra star.
  • The Crowd Points required to protect your stars/gain an extra star differ based on the rank, with the cost going up at higher ranks. You can read more about Crowd Points in the related appendix.

Ranked Battle Changes

  • To further improve Ranked Battles, we're removing the star protection from Arena Hero and the ranks below.
  • We're also replacing the previous MVP scoring with Crowd Points so that those who perform well in battle are rewarded for their efforts.
  • The addition of Crowd Points will change how you progress in Ranked Battle for a more solid experience. We've also added 1 star to the Contestant, Brawler, Fighter, Slayer, Gladiator, and Arena Hero ranks.

Battle Pass

  • We're changing up the rewards and adding more, such as Epic Hero Equipment Schematics and Magistrate's Memoirs, with better rewards for the early and mid-segments of the Battle Pass.
  • Added the exclusive reward Gate Gifts. Raise your Battle Pass rank to get the Gate Gifts which may contain Epic Hero Equipment Schematics, Treasure Essences and Treatises.

  • Seasonal Weapon Attire Selection Boxes will no longer be awarded from the Battle Pass. However, these can instead be acquired from other seasonal events.

Returning Attires

  • With the start of Conqueror's Blade: Colosseum, Antique Iron Warrior Attire, Antique Wrathful Emperor Attire and Antique Shadow Legion unit attire will no longer be available within the Seasonal Store.
  • Antique attires themed after the attires from Season IX: Tyranny era will be available in the Seasonal Store, where they will be available at a 20% discount. Antique Season VII: Wolves of Ragnarok weapon attire will no longer be available, while the hero and unit attire will be returned to their original prices.

Quality of Life

Visual Upgrade

We've made plenty of visual improvements with the Colosseum season, including the [Matchmaking (J)], [Events (O)], and [Seasons (F5)] menus. The overall visual style should be simpler, clearer and easier to use.

New Battle Mode Groupings

  • The various battle modes have been reorganised into more logical groupings on the J-menu. You will now find the following tabs:
  • · PvP: Contains regular player-versus-player battle types, such as Siege Battle, Field Battle and the new Colosseum mode.
  • · PvE: Contains all player-versus-enemy battle types, such as Bandit Raid, Expeditions and Training Battle.
  • · Events: Contains the schedule of all weekly event modes, such as Deathmatch, Free Battles and Territory War.
  • · Ranked Battles: Contains the Ranked Battles mode, which has been improved this season as detailed above.
  • · Tutorial: Contains Ladder, Unit Control, Siege Engines and Field Artillery training sessions.

Note: Certain challenges and quests may still reference the previous category names and will be fixed in future updates.

Gameplay Optimizations

  • We've added rules information for all the battle modes.
  • We've also added new icons to show the special restrictions and conditions for certain battle modes.

Team Colour Visual Upgrade

We've changed the colour of teams for the Colosseum season. This should make it easier to discern between friends and foes, and we've improved how these unit colours are displayed during extreme weather too. We hope that this should make the overall gameplay experience better.

Spectating

We've also made changes to game spectating. We hope you'll enjoy the changes!

These new changes are currently only available for Custom Lobby and Tournament Lobby (Tournament Server only). We'll also be adding the ability to spectate friends in the future!

Spectating Summary

We have also made changes to a large number of menus to improve the experience for spectators.

Player Info

When spectating a player, you'll see that player's health, skills, and units at a glance.

Spectator Options

Here you'll be able to change the playback speed and camera view.

Resource Comparison

On this menu you'll be able to check the number of units based on star levels for both sides to more easily see the overall picture.

And here you can check how many revives each team has left.

Unit Statistics

Conqueror's Blade is a game where several players fight against one another in a single game. While making our spectator system, we've been thinking about how to best convey all of that information in an easily digestible way.

Considering the amount of information required, we've decided to display the information for each player on both sides one after the other. To make this information easier to read, we've made the following two types:

Type 1:

Contains some information on each player for useful information in real-time.

Type 2:

Mostly contains information on units, enabling you to more easily analyze the overall game to give you an edge.

Strategic Map

Previously, lots of information was cluttered together on the map when spectating, making the map difficult to use.

We've upgraded the map in the current system, increasing its size and making the information easier to read.

Here you can see the routes the units on both teams take, artillery deployment, and unit positions around points of contention. The new brush feature will also help with planning, teaching and drafting strategies.
